Summer

Isn't summer supposed to be a nice relaxing break from everything? Well, this summer I have done many things. From the missions trip, to swimming almost every day to babysitting all different kids, and now my mom and I are going to Tennessee to see a dear friend Shanna Page. I am looking forward to going tomorrow but not waking up earlier than 7! Well, hope that you all have a non hectic summer!

New Found Favorite Song

Have you ever heard a song that you thought was kinda catchy and then you hear maybe 3 more times and you love it suddenly? I just had that sensation. I was at Alexa Marston's house and she had some random songs playing. Then there was the amazing intro to a song... "If I die young, bury me in satin." Wow! What song is this? It's called, If I Die Young, by the Band Perry. I shortly fell in love with that song. Currently while typing, thinking of my love, (whom is in South Dakota) I am listening to that song. If I die young, bury me in satin. Lay me down on a bed of roses. In the end it says, "funny how when you're dead people start listening." "So, put on your best boys and I'll wear my pearls." Man, that song totally gives me the goose bumps!

Cool Cookin'

Making cookies today with mom. They are only cookie dough right now but I'm not sure what we're getting into. They look yummy on the website that we got the recipe form but here is how yummy my hands look! Love CHOCOLATE! Here's hoping!

Swimming With Gillian

I love when the Strodtbecks come over because Gillian is HILARIOUS! I love how she watches me blow into the noodle and then tries it. Here's how it goes over. "Gracie, It's not  working! HELP!" What she doesn't realize is that you have to put water into the noodle prior to blowing into it. So, I would say, "Gilly, watch me... then try again ok?" So, she would watch me and still it wouldn't work. She thinks that I am magic because I can get the water out of the noodle. Don't you just love little kids?

Omaha

Hey everyone!
I just got home from Omaha , Nebraska where I went on a missions trip to. I had an amazing time and I'm glad that God gave me the chance to go. Although now I'm n a sticky situation with Biederman and Michael. Oh, the ways that boys seem to seep into your mind and somehow seem to control your thoughts, why? Gold Bond? Now that is a different story. I am thankful for the time spent in Omaha and can't wait for the next great adventure that God will lead me to.
